Update Regarding Shipments to the EU & Northern Ireland
It's come to my attention that on December 13th 2024 the EU will be enforcing their new General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR). This may heavily impact possible shipments to the EU and especially Northern Ireland, the biggest being the requirement of a "EU Authorised Representative." Products created before the enforcement date may possibly not require a representative, but the merch I've been working on will 100% NOT be done by this date; not including possible future works.
I've been doing research on this for a bit and, from what I've read, unfortunately the selling of artwork IS included in these regulations. There's a lot of wording and legal jargon that isnt 100% clear, and I MIGHT be able to continue selling since I believe there may be a certain $ earned requirement, but please keep in mind that I may have to not sell merch to the EU or Northern Ireland because of these regulations. I obviously cannot afford to hire a representative, but I will see what I can do.
I found a thread on Bluesky by a regulatory policy specialist and it is entirely possible that small business-specific guidelines will come out later, but I just want to let everyone know in the event that I have to make shipping to these places unavailable.
I've contacted Fourthwall support in regards to this and will continue to follow this and update everyone when I can!
